I'hv folder on linux there are some files have "@" in filenam can i move thes in other directory by perlscript?
Q. Basically what i want is In a folder which on linux platform there are some files with "@" in the file name and some files which do not have "@" in that directory, so I want to move files which just have "@" in the filenames into other directory through perl scripting. Please guide me.

A. If you can use a shell script instead, that would be easier: mv /from/directory/*@* /to/directory/. That will work across filesystems if necessary. A quick-and-dirty perl script that works if the two directories on the same file system: my $fromdir = '/from/directory'; my $todir = '/to/directory'; opendir(DIR, $fromdir); foreach my $file (grep(/\@/, readdir(DIR))) { rename("$fromdir/$file", "$todir/$file"); } If the two directories are on different file systems, you can't use rename and instead have to copy the file and remove the original (look into the "File::Copy" module if you need to do that). Where to find clients for a software company ?
Q. Hi, I Recently joined a company( a good frnd of mine) on part time basis. He started a IT company , he has technical background and i agreed to help(no salary right now) him find clients for him. clients who need custome software done for them. i am very frustated as i am not able to find any decent clients who would agree to enter a contract or any one who is offering resonable price. PLEASE guide me and my frnd in finding clients, i dont want him to close this company as we have already spent months on getting this off the ground. i know there clients who post Request for Proposals but they all do it on there own websites. is there any directory like carrerbuilder or monster, when one can find RFP's any help will be highly… [cont.]

A. What kind of software does your friend want to sell? It is easier to understand the product first, then find the right prospect in the right market segment. For low end software, you can look into yellow pages. There are thousands of companies listed there. For mid - high end, go look for public listed companies. You can start by searching online / newspaper for companies listed on main board / second board. Remember, it would be a waste of time and energy if you can't identify your market sector and which customer you are targeting.

Where is the /Library/Calendars directory on a mac?
Q. I'm using the latest version of leopard; I am trying to follow the guides on apple support forums for deleting the iCal cache. I cannot find the directory, it simply is not there... I have looked in Mac HD/Library and it is not there. I have looked in System/Library and it is not there either.
