Husband ............?
Q. We had a baby few months ago and we are not having relationships as frequently as we used to.Recently, I happened see my husband jacking and i was feeling very guilty..Is he satiating himself because am not available..how can i make him feel comfortable..

A. It's probably because you are not as available as you used to be before the baby. I just make sure that at least every so often he gets some. No matter how tired I am or busy I make it a point to say to myself that we will have relations that night. He really does enjoy the fact that I am making myself more available for it (even if I feel like passing out right in the middle). I say there is always a day I can take a nap (NOT), but that's what I say to myself at least. And if your hubby really isn't attempting with you just put something nice on and he'll get the point that he can try and not get rejected.

What do my husband and I need to do now to prepare to buy a house?
Q. My husband and I want to prepare to apply for a home loan within the next 5 years. Currently we rent, my husband lived there 3 years before we got married and we have lived there married for 2 years. We've never been late on rent or bills. We don't like debt and thus don't carry any. Any large ticket items (i.e. laptop computer $2,500 and mattress $3,500) we pay in cash. I only have three department store credit cards (Banana Republic, Ann Taylor & VS) as far as credit goes. I pay any balance (I don't use them much) when due or before due date. The only financing my husband and I have done is paid off a 2002 truck in 2005 (after selling). What should we do in order to build up credit (or whatever is needed) in order to get a home… [cont.]

A. Congratulations. It sounds like you have taken the necessary steps to position yourselves well for a home purchase. Your limited credit use is fine. You may want to go to annualcreditreport.com and pull your credit for free so that you may check for any inaccuracies and to find out what your credit scores are at present. This site does not require you sign up for anything to get a copy of your report unlike many of them do. Basic requirements for financing are as follows: 2 years in the same profession (salaried) or working in your filed of study if recently graduated. Acceptable credit scores (620 average gives you access to FNMA but the higher the better as some programs require higher scores) Documentation of available funds to… [cont.]

What if my husband wants to have a threes0me with an African American woman?

How do I convince my husband that we should start trying for a baby?
Q. I'm 24 and my husband is 27 and we've been married for about 9 months. My husband and I have a lot of friends who are married and a few who have kids. i really want to start trying for a baby, but my husband says he's not ready yet (but has no good excuse). What can I say to him to convince him that we should start trying. We're financially stable and even have a spare bedroom we can easily turn into a nursery!

A. Don't rush having children. You are newlyweds and have time. My husband and I were barely newlyweds when we found out about our first. I wouldn't say my son is a burden but it does take a toll on a relationship. A child is hard to raise. They take a lot of time, love, money, and patience. They are great don't get me wrong but do take your time. He will come along. Good Luck!

Husband brought home old sewing machine, what to do about cigarette smell?
Q. My husband brought home an old sewing machine from the 1940's it still works great and came built in with the sewing table and everything. It smells horribly like smoke, like someone has been smoking around it for many years how do I clean it up would good old pledge work or is that not safe enough?
Asked by crymeariver - Fri Mar 21 10:41:12 2008 - - 2 Answers - 0 Comments
A. Scrub it with something like Murphy's oil soap and, if you can, put it outside to air. If there's a breeze it may help blow away some of the foul air inside the machine. Just make certain you protect it from the elements. Unfortunately, you can't tinker with it too much because you risk tainting the working parts. The Muse

A. First, ignore NWIP, they're American, your own passport will be perfectly adequate, the only restrictions will be Out Bounds areas, they are OB to you and any visitors that may stay with you. I think you'll probably find it much easier having a little one, more organised things to do, playgroups etc. I do believe (although my son was grown up!) there are toy 'libraries' so if you are waiting for your boxes you should be able to entertain him! There are lots of young mums - you won't be alone! As you are new to it I'd say a trip to the HIVE, where they have all sorts of info, (local and forces) would probably be a good idea. That will depend where you are going Episkopi or Dhekalia , both have good schools and pre-school. TPMH (the… [cont.]

My husband and I are considering buying a 5th wheel to live in?
Q. We are moving back to Indiana in Oct and our home is under contract to be bought by our daughter so we are moving in with my parents until we find a place. We have been toying with the idea of buying a 5th wheel, used, at a cost of around $55,000 and also buying a used truck to pull it. We have done the research and my husband knows which type of truck we need. the money is not a problem, we can get the best, we have been looking and we have found some very nice higher end 5th wheels that we feel we could be very comfortable in. We can either park it at my parents house and whenever they leave town ( they are retired) we can stay in the house...OR we have an acre next to the house that our daughter is buying and we can put in a pad there… [cont.]

My husband & I stay in a 5th wheel 36ft 3 slide outs 8 months out of the year in Indiana (New Albany) across the river from Louisville with our dog I love it and have no problems with it we have also spent the same amount of time in a 29ft. fifth wheel 1 slide out no problems it's all in the people and how much space you think you need, I love my 5th wheel it's easy to keep clean and in order. We travel for work racetrack (horses) tried the apartment thing and houses for years would not go back to that either, this is more cost efficient and time efficient for us, always set and ready to go, not a lot of packing and unpacking or searching for apartments in whatever kind of area or price . Again I love it...

My husband put a deposit on a cruise for a wedding we were going to attend. How do I get the money back?
Q. If you pulled out with a plenty of time left you got your deposit back. Well we did and we haven't seen any of the money yet. My husband has been trying to contact them via e-mail and phone but they just brush him off. I told him if anything report them to the BBB but he just is so tired of dealing with it. How do I take over this matter. If it was just a few bucks I would let it go but it's 400 dollars and we need to pay bills. It was done by credit card. The wedding was his cousin's and he doesn't want to tell him what's going on because his cousin loves this cruise place. It was a "barefoot" cruise and we booked it with the actually ship (they had a director that handles everything) so it wasn't an agency.

A. You would be better off to dispute the claim with your cc company. If you booked with Windjammer Barefoot Cruises, you may be out of luck getting money back directly from them, as they are experiencing big financial problems. WBC recently had several ships "held" in port until they paid fees in cash and paid striking workers that had not been paid in months. See link below for info.

How much should my husband and I expect to recieve from the tax rebate?
Q. I am a stay at home mom and my husband works.I made no money last year myself. My husband made about $25,000.We have two children together. How much should we be getting back from the new tax rebate? If we electronically filed our taxes and have already recieved them will the new rebate be electronically filed automaically also? It goes against your 2008 taxes? Wow I had no idea.Any more info on why?
Asked by tiffany a - Thu Feb 14 13:18:22 2008 - - 3 Answers - 0 Comments
A. The rebate works like this: $600 for a single person $1200 for a couple plus $300 for each child. In order to get the rebate, you have to have filed your 2007 taxes. If your husband filed, then since you are a couple you should expect to receive $1200 plus $600 for the kids ($300 each). You will not get your rebate electronically. Those will all be through an actual check. Just an FYI though: The catch on the tax rebate, is that it goes against your 2008 filing. So when you file your taxes for 2008 next year, it will be taken against that. It's almost like an advance from your 2008 taxes. Guess they were right when they said you don't get anything for free. Hope this helps!

What is the etiquette for how a widow refers to her late husband?
Q. I just started dating a woman who is a widow (he passed 3 years ago), and she refers to her late husband as "her husband." I thought that, technically, having a husband meant being married. She obviously is not married. Should she be referring to him as her late husband, ex-husband or husband?

A. My late wife passed away around three years ago after 20 years of marriage. I am currently in a new relationship. When we were first getting to know each other, I referred to "my late wife" at the very beginning. Very rapidly, that seemed far too formal and so I referred to her as, "My late wife, Susan..." a couple of times, thus "introducing" my current partner to her. Ever since then, whenever there has been a need for Susan to be mentioned, she has been referred to by name. She is definitely not "my wife"; I have not thought of her in those terms or mentioned her to others using those words since her death. Q. He has two contractors who are interested in his work. We were going to do this as a sole proprietorship, but have been advised by some that it isn't a good idea because we could lose our house, etc if someone were to sue us (God forbid). My husband will be the one and only employee. I will be taking care of the paperwork end, but I'm not going to be an employee. What type of business would you suggest? We were told that a better move would be to make it an LLC.

A. It depends on your State. As a sole, the income you make has an additional tax (self-employment tax). That is the social and medicare we pay as an employee times 2. As a sole you pay the employee and the employer portion. If you start an LLC and file Form 2553 (E-Election) you will be an LLC taxes as an S-Corp. The income will flow through your personal and not subject to that self-employment tax. That is a savings of 15.30% (7.65% x 2). That means on net income of $100,000 you saved $15,300 in self-employment taxes. As an S-Corp the IRS wants the owner to pay themselves wages as well as employees. The wages don't have to be much, just a reasonable amount of compensation. As the owner, in additional to the reasonable amount of… [cont.]

Can my husband wear his alphas to our church wedding?
Q. My husband and I had a very small beach wedding in May and we're planning on having a church wedding after he deploys. For our beach wedding he wore his blues. The first time I saw him in his alphas I fell in love all over again... ;) haha. Well I know that blues are for formal occasions, can Alphas also be worn at formal gatherings (I saw some guys wearing them at the ball)? I like the vintage feel of alphas.

A. They can be... But they're usually only worn if blues aren't available. It's your wedding though, you can do whatever you want.

How can I help my husband to get his son motivated?
Q. My stepston will be 26 yrs old this Sunday. He's the father of a 4 yr old and an 18 month old and all three of them live with us. My stepson has had 1 job in the last year. My husband has talked-and yelled-until he's "blue in the face". If it were just the 2 little ones, my husband would have kicked the son out a long time ago. My stepson needs a wake up call or maybe some kind of scare tactic. Any suggestions?

A. Give him a nice kick in the pants. The son not your husband. If that doesn't work, use that kick and kick him out the door. No use having a bum around and teach his kids bad things.

Can my husband quit his job and I keep the health insurance?
Q. My husband wants to switch jobs, but I am pregnant and for complex reasons need to stay with my insurance (through his work). Can I stay with the same insurance indefinitely if he quits and not have my plan/benefits change at all?
Asked by Jennifer132 - Fri Jun 27 18:03:14 2008 - - 3 Answers - 0 Comments
A. No more than likely not. His employer is giving him the benefits, so if he is no longer with the company then he doesn't get insurance from them. Unless they were super friendly and oddly helpful.

If my husband and I file married but filing seperatly, and we live together what are the penalties?
Q. I just found out that my husband and I owe 1650 fed and 400 state for next year. If we filed married but separate, will we still have to owe, or will we owe more? And if we did file married but seperate and we are living together, will we go to jail? This may seem like a really dumb question, but I have no clue. Ok thank you!

A. You can always choose "Married-Filing Separately" even if you live together but, usually, you will end up worse off tax wise than if you filed a Joint return.
